A Natural Kind of Partnership
September 25, 2017
You could say the partnership between Natural Health Center and Treystar is a natural. That s because both companies go above and beyond to nurture relationships. Natural Health Center does it with their focus on helping their customers make healthy lifestyle choices and Treystar accomplishes the task by not simply serving, but investing in the well-being of their clients.
Kate Wunderlin, Managing Partner of Natural Health Center, agreed, adding the relationship with Treystar is more than just a business transaction. We ve been really happy with the direction that Treystar has taken. They re great people to work with. We would recommend them to any company looking for space in the area.
Natural Health Center has been in business for 44 years and has partnered with Treystar since 1995. That year, the store needed a larger location and found the perfect home in Westwood Plaza.
One reason the space is tailor-made for Natural Health Center is the abundant natural light. We have 16 skylights throughout the store that let in natural sunlight, Kate said. The skylights allow us to have a naturally bright store while lowering our carbon footprint. We save the equivalent of 8,000 gallons of gasoline or taking 16 cars off the road each year.
Natural light is better," said Mike Wunderlin, Kate s father and Founding Partner, Natural Health Center. We have trees and plants and everything grows just normal inside the store. It's better for the people who work here and the people who shop here.
Better is an adjective Natural Health Center and Treystar truly take to heart. Everything we do in this store is geared toward making people feel better, including our employees and all those we work with, Mike said. With Treystar, it s easy to feel better because they re always available and respond so well. They really take good care of us.
Local, Lively and Convenient
Located at Kalamazoo s busiest commercial intersection (West Main and Drake Road), Westwood Plaza is an excellent place to support local, as well as provides an ideal retail location and demographics. The 100,000-square-foot development is surrounded by family neighborhoods and apartments alike, catering to residents and college students.
