Robert M Brown, Development & Acquisitions

Robert Brown, CEO, founded Treystar in 1969. Since 1982 the company has concentrated in real estate development and management. Bob is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and received his Master's Degree in Finance from Harvard.

Bob Brown is President of Arcadia Capital, LLC and has incorporated or assisted entrepreneurs in more than forty companies in Southwest Michigan. He has provided high-risk venture capital to nurture new ideas and assist the existing Monroe-Brown Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to furthering higher education. He is a board member for Southwest Michigan First and Fabri-Kal Corporation.

Bob is an adventure traveler enjoying the outdoors and athletic activities including: downhill skiing, tennis, basketball, white water rafting, trekking and bird hunting.

Terry Patterson, Retail Leasing and Development

Terry PattersonTerry Patterson joined Treystar in 1987. Prior to that, Terry was previously employed by Woodbridge Development Company in Marketing and Sales for the Woodbridge Hills Planned Unit Development.

Terry is a graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and is a licensed Broker in the State of Michigan. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), a Board Member of the Portage Downtown Development Authority (DDA), and a Board Member of The Portage Athletic Foundation (PAF).

Terry concentrates on the leasing, acquisitions, and development of the Treystar portfolio. Terry received a BS Degree from West Chester University, West Chester, PA. Terry lives in Portage with his 3 daughters. Contact Terry to discuss Treystar's retail and development opportunities.

Elizabeth Wright, Project Management & Property Operations

Elizabeth WrightElizabeth Wright has been with Treystar for 23 years. She serves a variety of roles within the Treystar organization including leading the Client Services Team in Property Management. She is accountable for the continuing development of systems and policies that ensure well-maintained, quality buildings with responsive and efficient services in addition to new projects and capital improvements. Elizabeth is happy to assist with any questions on property projects and on client service for Treystar.

Ashley Vaughn, Client Services Coordinator

Tar ParisianAhley Vaughn has just finished her first year with Treystar! A graduate of Davenpor tCollege and originally from the Kalamazoo area, you will find Ashley to be organized and very helpful! She is accountable for managing day-to-day property management operations for all Treystar properties, ensuring that all service requests and facility care projects receive appropriate follow through in a timely manner.

Ashley is an exceptional addition to our organization and we're delighted to have her leading our services team!

Brian Julian, Downtown Campus Superintendent

Brian JulianBrian Julian joined our team in October of 2007. Brian is accountable for all maintenance and custodial service needs for Treystar properties in downtown, Kalamazoo (Main Street East, Haymarket and Keyser Buildings). He supervises the completion of all on site special projects in addition to the successful and prompt completion of all tenant service requests. Brian's experience, strong work ethic, attitude and desire to serve Treystar clients is what makes the difference in our office property.

Lezli Comes, Lease Administration

Lezli ComesLezli Comes has worked in accounting with our Treystar team for 14 years. She is responsible for ensuring that all lease-related financial transactions are accurate and processed correctly. Lezli is dedicated, very organized and wonderful in follow up communication with clients on any questions regarding their leasing statements. Lezli is the behind the scenes person keeping things in order for our clients!

J. Craig DeNooyer, Development & Acquisitions

Craig DeNooyerCraig DeNooyer has been with Treystar since its inception and managing partner since 1984. He has been involved in many of the area's premier real estate ventures encompassing residential, commercial, office development and local golf courses.

Mr. DeNooyer is active in various community and charitable organizations. Present and past board affiliations include: Southwest Michigan First, Economic Growth Authority, Community Political Action Committee, Kalamazoo Chamber of Commerce, LISC, Kalamazoo Christian Schools, Old Kent Bank of Kalamazoo, DeNooyer Chevrolet, Metro Toyota and Third Christian Reformed Church. He is actively involved in local/state/national politics. He received a B.S. from Calvin College and an M.B.A from the University of Michigan.

Fritz Brown, Office Leasing and Development

Fritz BrownFritz Brown joined Treystar in June 1999. Fritz came from Bechtel Corporation, a worldwide leader in civil infrastructure based in San Francisco. Fritz is a Board Member for the Monroe-Brown Foundation, Kalamazoo Neighborhood Housing Services, the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, and the Kalamazoo Economic Development Coporation. He is a committe member of the Kalamazoo Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, and is a licensed Realtor in the state of Michigan.

Fritz received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Masters of Public Policy (MPP) from the University of Michigan.

Fritz's responsibilities encompass Treystar's office space portfolio, including the Main Street East and Haymarket buildings in downtown Kalamazoo, as well as various office buildings in the greater Kalamazoo Market. Fritz has also been involved in office and retail development projects, including built-to-suit and renovation ventures.

Deanna Rothe, Controller

Elizabeth WrightDeanna Rothe recently joined Treystar's team as Controller to oversee all aspects of the Financial Department. She is a Western Michigan University graduate receiving her CPA with the State of Michigan in 1990. She started her career with Price Waterhouse in Battle Creek, and has served as Controller in the wholesale industry, successfully managing the administrative areas of the company.

Deanna is active in many community organizations, and is currently serving on the boards of the Kalamazoo Children's Chorus and the West Middle School PTO. She lives in Texas Township with her husband and two children.

Terry Westafer, Retail Properties Superintendent

Terry WestaferTerry Westafer has served the Treystar organization for 28 years and leads our Maintenance Services Team in both technical and general maintenance services for all retail commercial Treystar properties. A dedicated and hardworking team member, Terry supervises all grounds crew in addition to being responsible for assisting with the scheduling and follow up communication with various service providers regarding property improvements, preventative maintenance and general care of Treystar's Properties. Terry is a big reason that Treystar retail properties look fantastic all year!

Jan Boody, Residential Services Manager

Jan BoodyJan Boody is a long-time member of the Treystar organization. She started in Apri,l 1981 when the Woodbridge Hills Community Development was just beginning. Jan is responsible for establishing and maintaining numerous management systems required in the care of residential property associations.

Jan is committed to excellent service for Treystar's residential clients. She is a proven manager with 24 years of experience in a role having a high degree of responsibility and requiring much diplomacy.

She is currently working towards her CMCA designation (Certified Manager of Community Associations) through the Community Associations Institute (CAI), a national organization dedicated to providing education and resources to professional managers of residential communities.

Jan is married with two grown sons, Nic and John. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
